Due to certain restrictions, the imbalance of the rotor must be repeatable. The range of unbalanced masses limits the achievable tolerances. What is uncontrollable is that the transfer of various different masses in the rotor will seriously hinder the balance or even make the balance incomplete. The reasons for this quality shift may be:

1) There are loose parts on the rotor
2) The twist of the rotor axis
3) Settlement of winding
4) Deformation caused by thermal stress
5) Plastic deformation caused by impact or deviation
